The accident involved a trailer that, after being unable to stop in time,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>collided with several vehicles. As a result, the vehicle ended up across the road,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>occupying all three north-south lanes of traffic, causing a partial closure of the highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Causes of the accident and traffic conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred as the trailer was traveling toward Mexico City . Failing to brake in time before the Jorobas intersection ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the driver crashed into a bank and then struck five cars and a pickup truck .
