{"id":2557,"date":"2025-09-21T21:06:27","date_gmt":"2025-09-21T21:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenewsbreeze.com\/?p=2557"},"modified":"2025-09-21T21:06:28","modified_gmt":"2025-09-21T21:06:28","slug":"joke-of-the-day-%f0%9f%98%82-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenewsbreeze.com\/?p=2557","title":{"rendered":"Joke of the Day \ud83d\ude02"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A truck driver walks into a cafe on the Hume Highway with a full-grown emu behind him.<br>The waitress asks for his order.<br>The truckie says, <em>\u201cI\u2019ll have a hamburger, chips and a coffee.\u201d<\/em><br>He turns to the emu. <em>\u201cWhat about you?\u201d<\/em><br><em>\u201cSounds good to me, I\u2019ll have the same,\u201d<\/em> the emu replies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The waitress returns with their meals. <em>\u201cThat\u2019ll be $10.50, please.\u201d<\/em><br>The truckie reaches into his pocket, pulls out the exact change, and pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This happens again the next day. And the day after that. Always the same order, always the exact change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, on Friday night, the truckie says: <em>\u201cI\u2019ll have a steak, baked potatoes and a salad.\u201d<\/em><br>The emu chimes in: <em>\u201cSounds great, same for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The waitress brings the meals. <em>\u201cThat will be $32.65.\u201d<\/em><br>Once again, the man reaches into his pocket and hands her the exact change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unable to hold back any longer, the waitress blurts out:<br><em>\u201cYou\u2019ve really got me there, mate. How do you always have the exact change?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truckie leans back and says:<br><em>\u201cWell, years ago I found a magic lamp. When I rubbed it, a genie promised me two wishes. My first wish was that whenever I had to pay for something, I\u2019d just reach into my pocket and pull out exactly the right amount of money.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The waitress gasps. <em>\u201cThat\u2019s brilliant!
