An old, tired-looking dog wandered into a man\u2019s yard. From his collar and well-fed belly, the man could tell he had a home and was well cared for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dog calmly walked up, wagging his tail. The man petted him kindly, and the dog followed him into the house, strolled down the hall, curled up in a corner, and fell fast asleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An hour later, the dog got up, went to the door, and waited to be let out. The man opened the door, and the dog trotted away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next day, the dog was back. Same thing \u2014 greeting, nap, and departure. This continued for several weeks, like clockwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the man became curious. He pinned a note to the dog\u2019s collar that said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\u201cI\u2019d like to know who owns this sweet dog, and if you\u2019re aware he comes to my house every afternoon for a nap.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
