But What Her Atheist Neighbor Said Next Left Everyone Speechless

Every morning, an elderly woman would step onto her porch, lift her hands to the sky, and shout, “Praise the Lord!” It drove her atheist neighbor crazy. Without fail, he’d shout back, “There is no Lord!”

One day, she prayed louder than usual. “Lord, I’m struggling. Please send me some food.” Her neighbor overheard and decided to teach her a lesson. The next morning, he left several bags of groceries on her porch.

When she saw them, she burst into tears, shouting, “Praise the Lord! He’s provided for me!”

Her neighbor jumped out from behind the bushes, smirking. “Ha! God didn’t buy those groceries — I did!”

The woman paused, looked up, and smiled. “Praise the Lord,” she said again, “Not only did You send me food, but You made the devil pay for it!”

The neighbor stood there speechless… and for once, he didn’t have a comeback
