Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg
- ½ cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl while still warm.
- Add butter, cheese, garlic, parsley, egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until it forms a smooth dough.
- Form small patties using your hands.
- Roll each patty lightly in breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
- Fry each side for about 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Tip:
They taste amazing with sour cream or garlic yogurt dip.
