A frustrated wife had finally had enough. Every evening, her husband disappeared to his favorite bar, spending hours laughing with friends while she stayed home alone. After one complaint too many, he threw up his hands and said:
“Fine! Come with me tonight. See what it’s like.”
So she did.
When they walked in, she looked around — noisy, crowded, filled with cheers and clinking glasses. Definitely not her idea of a peaceful night. He smiled smugly and asked:
“What’ll you have?”
She sighed dramatically.
“Oh, I don’t know… the same as you, I suppose.”
So he ordered two beers.
But that’s when the REAL show began.
Before she could take a sip, the bartender leaned over and winked at the husband.
“Hey buddy! The usual for your lady tonight?”
Then another patron shouted across the room, “Did you bring your sunshine tonight? She always lights up this place!”
Moments later, a waitress walked by, pinched the wife’s shoulder affectionately, and said, “Baby, where’ve you been? We missed you last week!”
The wife went pale.
Her husband just sat there, stunned.
The entire bar — all the customers, staff, and even the guy playing darts — were treating his wife like she was the true regular.
Finally, she turned to him with a slow, wicked smile and said:
“Still want to know why I complained?”
The husband took the longest sip of beer in his life.
It was the last time he ever complained about spending too much time at home.
